Harris Weekly Update

AUGUST 16-AUGUST 20

ATTENDANCE REMINDERS

As we get deeper into the semester, waking up early in the mornings gets harder and harder, attendance becomes a struggle for some students. Please help us by getting your child out the door on time.

  • Reminders: Parents will not be allowed inside the building without prior approval. Safety for our children must remain top priority.

The side entrance door will now be closed and locked at 7:55 AM.

If you arrive after 7:55 AM, students will enter through the front office door.

  • Please remember to bring your ID when picking up your student. This is for the safety of your student. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us to keep our campus safe for all students.
  • If your student arrives after 8:10 AM, they are considered late and they MUST be signed in by a parent or guardian in the front office or they will be marked with an unexcused tardy or an unexcused absence.
  • Leaving early at the end of the day also results in a tardy. Please do your best to schedule appointments for before or after school. We want our students to be getting their full day of learning!"
  • The cut-off time to pull students out early is 2:35PM (1:35PM on Weds) If you arrive after this time to sign your child out, you will have to wait until the dismissal bell rings.
  • We understand life happens and there are times when you may be late after school to pick up your child. Please be sure to communicate with the front office if this should occur. Otherwise, we expect your child to be picked up on time as school ends promptly @ 2:55 PM (1:55PM on Weds) (11:55AM in half days)

For the attendance line please call, 480-545-7060 OPT #1
