A Theocracy is a a type of government in which a priest rules in the name of God or a God. While there's strong points in this government system, they're also points where it crumbles.
Positives of a Theocracy:
- encourages social and political unity
- guarantees political decisions are in line with people's moral values and beliefs
Negatives of a Theocracy
- Religious minorities are often cut out and sometimes even persecuted
- Religious warfare can breakout as groups with differing beliefs fight for control
