Weekly Update
1/12/2020
Principal message
Below you will see our school report card from last school year. We had a very successful year and I hope you will take a minute to read the information.
It is survey time. We need your help. We use all of the information you provide to help us to continue to improve our connections with you and your children. The district survey will come out this week. Please take 5 minutes to fill it out. Thank you for your time.
Safety update: You might have noticed our crossing guard is not present in the morning or afternoon. She has taken a job in a PK classroom at Pfluger. We are working to find a replacement. If your child walks or rides their bike to school, please talk to them about safety in the morning, especially with it being so dark.
The school doors do not open until 7:05. If you have a child that walks or rides their bike to school, please do not have them arrive before 7:05. No one is supervising students outside of the building.
School Report Card for the 18-19 school year
Dear Parent/Guardian,
The letter will help you find a copy of the State of Texas 2018–19 School Report Card for Pfluger. This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. It is to be sent to the parent or guardian of every child enrolled in a Texas public school. The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®), as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures.
The federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA), Federal Report Cards for the state, the district, and each of the district’s campuses are now available on the district’s website or directly at: https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/frc/2019/srch.html.
For any additional questions, feel free to contact me or go to the Hays CISD Accountability website at: https://www.hayscisd.net/site/Default.aspx?PageID=309.
Sincerely,
