Welcome to the last week of learning before we officially start our summer! We hope you are able to join in on the end of year zooms with your class this week to say goodbye! We are so proud of all of you for your hard work and efforts during this remote learning - we know it was not easy on anyone.

We have our 5th grade Drive Through Celebration on Tuesday, June 2nd. (FYI: That same day, we also have a HHS and EHS Senior Drive Through).

Additionally, the graduation ceremony video is complete and we will send it out on Tuesday, June 2nd to our fifth grade families for you to enjoy at your convenience.

In order to minimize traffic, please do your best to abide by the schedule below.


Cullen's Class: 1:00pm

Dean's Class: 1:15pm

Mulvey's Class: 1:30pm

Stout's Class: 1:45pm

Important Information:

- Please have your 5th grade child sit in the seat behind the driver. This will be the best

location for your child to see and wave to the teachers and staff.

- Please drive slowly as you drive through and keep moving.

- You are invited to decorate your car to celebrate if you are interested in doing so. This is

not mandatory.

- Everyone must stay in the car. In our hearts and minds, we will be hugging you, but we will remain at a safe distance.

Parent Pick Up of Supplies

On June 9th, 10th, & 11th families will have times by child's last name initial (Example Rebecca Eberly would come on the day E is designated).

If for some reason, you cannot make this time, please reach out to Ms. Jeannette Zoretic at ALL ITEMS THAT ARE NOT PICKED UP WILL BE DISCARDED.

Kindergarten - 4th grade students will receive the items left in the desk and cubby, (including instruments) and if you ordered yearbooks and Be Kind t-shirts.

While 5th grade students will receive everything from the desk, cubby, finished art work, yearbooks, graduation certificate, memory books, middle school tshirts, Be Kind tshirts (if you ordered), and surprise gift from the PTO.

We will have bins for you to return library books. Also, if your child has a school-assigned instrument, we will have a location for you to drop that off during the above time slot as well.


- Parents/guardians will enter the parking lot near the front of the building, off of FernHill Rd

- Stay in the line.

- Stay in your car.

- Have a sign visible with your child's name and teacher's name on a piece of paper for you to hold up to your window.

- We will have staff to read the sign and retrieve your child's bag of belongings.

- You will open the trunk or a back seat (where no one is sitting) and we will put the bag in your car.

We encourage you to wear masks during this process. Our staff will have on masks and gloves and will abide by social distancing.

Hi, I'm Allie P. For my fourth grade Passion Project, I am doing a Snack Drive for Essential Workers. I am collecting snack bars, water bottles, small chip packages, and other pre-packaged snacks to donate. You can also donate a gift card to Amazon or Giant. Kindergarten & New Student Registration

Please encourage your friends/neighbors to register ASAP, we use these #s to determine our staffing (number of teachers).

If you or someone you know has a child who is turning 5 before September 1, 2020, it is time to enroll them in kindergarten here at Fern Hill. Simply go to our district site,, and click on the enrollment icon. Please scan all necessary documents if possible: birth certificate, immunizations, health records, dental records and 2 proofs of residency. We will reach out to you to set up an appointment to complete the registration.

If your family is moving out of the attendance area and/or your child will not return to Fern Hill, can you please email Mrs. Zoretic ( to inform her of this so we can start the withdraw process. We use student enrollments to determine our sections of each grade level.

4 PAYMENT OPTIONS: (**Price is $25 and supplies will be on a first come, first serve basis)

1)You can order your yearbook via the school store on our membership toolkit website. Here is the store link: There is a small fee there.

For these next 3 OPTIONS(Email with student/teacher and payment method)

2)Mail a $25 check made out to: Fern Hill PTO to Melanie Olsen, 1116 Phoenixville Pike, WC, PA 19380.

3)You can also send the $25 by Friends and Family Paypal payment to but please email with your student name and teacher.

4) Venmo @Melanie-Olsen-9 and and I will write the PTO a check.
