OLD BUSINESS
Constitution/By-Law (Lynne Corn/Lucy Campbell)
The revised Constitution and By-Laws was circulated again to the members with no additions or changes being noted. The revised documents will be sent to AKC on November 15, 2022 for their review.
2022 Agility Trial (Linda Porter)
The agility trial was a successful event again this year with only a few runs that were not full on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who assisted in setting up the courses and worked the runs and a very big thank you to Linda Porter for all her time and work organizing the event.
2022 BCCA Specialty - Virginia Beach, VA (Casey Minner/Laura Columbo)
This event was very successful. The final accounting has not been completed yet but it appears that it will produce a small profit. Once the final numbers are received we will share with the membership the final accounting, as a reminder NCBCC shares in a 60/40 split of any proceeds from the event with the BCCA. As we didn't have a live auction this year and the BCCA standing rule was updated last year, no proceeds are designated to BCCA Rescue. So, we may request including rescue in our annual gifting targets.
NEW BUSINESS
Scottish Walk
The Scottish Walk will take place on December 3rd at 11 am. When we receive our line up information we will send it along as well as provide you with Roger Orrocks mobile number so you can reach him on the day with any questions. This is a very fun event which goes through Old Town Alexandria and NCBCC has participated for 20+ years, so we're excited to included again this year.
2023 April Specialty (Casey Minner/Laura Colombo)
This year we will have three specialties and sweepstakes events all with breeder judges! As always, if you'd like to help with an event, please get in touch! We'd love to have you! Reach out to Casey or Laura.

2023 Agility Trial (Linda Porter)
Next years Agility Trial will be held on October 27-29 at a new location Periland Agility in Frederick, Maryland.
Volunteers to help with this event are always appreciated. Please contact Linda Porter.
2022 Annual Giving
Several organization for donations were suggested. Any additional suggestions are welcome and should be sent to Sandy Pabst.
AKC Humane Fund - To assist women's shelters to become equipped to permit pets to help break the cycle of domestic abuse.
IFAW Animal Welfare - global non-profit helping animals via rescue, rehabilitation and release
AKC Disaster Relief Program - this program helps local Emergency Management provide animal care services immediately following a disaster such as the recent Hurricanes Ian and Nicole.
Social Events
Suggestions for social events in the coming year were:
Winery Event - both Spring and Fall
Herding Instinct Testing
Dock Diving Try It
Fast Cat Try It
Bounce at Lynne Corn's house with a slot reserved for the 10 year and older Beardies to romp.

A vote was put forth and approved by the majority for the following positions to be filled as below:
