Volunteer of the Year
The Oster staff is proud to announce that Rebecca Taylor has been nominated as our Volunteer of the Year. Rebecca has spent endless hours writing grants, getting district approvals, creating plans, purchasing materials, organizing volunteers, and physically working in our new kindergarten and upper-grade gardens. Having some money left over, Rebecca connected with Life Lab, an organization that provides garden-based education, to provide three workshops for our staff next year. The workshops will be tied to our ELA, math, and science standards and will give teachers the opportunity to teach engaging lessons in our new gardens. I cannot begin to describe the heartfelt gratitude that the Oster staff feels for Rebecca. Her many hours of volunteer work have provided the Oster staff, students, and community members with beautiful gardens to cherish and admire for many years to come. We thank you, Rebecca, for your time and dedication!

Silent Auction
Our annual Silent Auction is coming up on Wednesday, May 22nd, at our Open House. The Silent Auction committee has been working hard to secure some awesome packages that await your bids. In the past, the committee has been very lucky to receive donations from our amazing Oster families. So if you own your own company and can donate products or services, they would be most grateful. If you can convince your employer to donate that would be great, too.
Or do you have any talents or skills that you can offer? Are you a brilliant baker, a creative crafter, an accomplished artist, a heroic hairdresser, a nifty nail technician, a phenomenal photographer, or an opulent other? If so, please consider donating your expertise to our Silent Auction.
Just email osterdonation@gmail.com with your donation idea and someone will happily get back to you. We appreciate your support!
