Copper Creek Bobcat Blast
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2023
Hello Bobcat Families,
On Monday, Copper Creek honored Patriot Day, and we want to give a great big thank you to Mr. Ambrose and all of the choir for their performance during our tribute.
We would also like to thank Master Sergeant J.M. Badey from Sandra Day O'Connor High School and his program, U.S. Air Force JROTC color guard. They proudly presented to our students, teachers, and families.
For the classrooms, teachers created activities and outstanding art projects for their students. We explained to students that Congress designated September 11 of each year as Patriot Day. This day is a national day of remembrance of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and in honor of the families left behind.
Lastly, please see below for upcoming events for parents.
CONGRATULATIONS...
Congratulations to Daniel Yeryomenko for earning the highest scaled scores in ELA and Math on the AASA State Assessment. Daniel was honored at the Board Meeting for his achievement. Way to go Daniel!!

The Copper Creek Way Highlight of the WEEK
For the month of September Bobcats will be discussing “The Copper Creek Way” on how to behave in the cafeteria.
This week we are reminding our students that it is important to always act responsibly in the cafeteria. Students should be raising their hands before they leave their seats, using the bathroom appropriately and remembering to leave the area they are sitting in clean or cleaner than before they sat down.
Our lunch monitors greatly appreciate our responsible Bobcats!!
