2023-2024 Enrollment
Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is now open!
During the month of January, we will have enrollment open for current families only. Beginning on February 1, we will open our enrollment to new families.
Please see the below enrollment letter which has some additional information regarding enrollment for the coming year. You will also find the Google Form link to the 2023-2024 enrollment form. You will need to complete a separate form for each child.

Catholic Schools Week Jan. 29- Feb. 4


The PTO is hosting an UNO tournament in conjunction with Catholic Schools Week, free to any student who would like to play. The tournament will be on Friday, February 3rd in the Holy Name Cafe at 6 pm. We could use volunteers to help plan and work the event. Please email hngiantspto@gmail.com to join the planning. A sign-up genius for specific volunteer jobs for the event will be in a future highlights edition. More details coming soon!

Mardi Gras 2023
Mark your calendars! Our annual Mardi Gras Reverse Raffle is set for Saturday, February 18. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our school.
Tickets are on sale now! Each ticket costs $100, which includes dinner and drinks for two and entry into the $5,000 raffle. The night also includes live and silent auctions, pull tabs, heads/tails games, and other raffle opportunities. This event is for adults 21+ only.
Tickets may be purchased from the school office or from any student in grades 5-7. While we hope everyone will attend the event, you do not need to be present to win.

PTO News

Our locally made Holy Name 100th Year Anniversary Socks are here! The cost is $13 each.
They are a standard adult size, one size fits most (men 5-11, women 7-12)
There are paper order forms available in the office or here. Socks will be distributed or available to pick up at least once a week, depending on volunteer and staff availability.

Curriculum Meeting for Incoming Freshmen and Their Parents
All students and parents of current eighth grade students who are planning to attend Roncalli next year are invited to our annual 8th GradeCurriculum Meeting on Tuesday, January 31 at 7:00 PM in the Roncalli Auditorium. A copy of the Course Catalog and an Information Packet will be provided when you arrive that evening. You can also visit https://www.roncalli.org/academics/guidance/8th-graders/ for information. This informative presentation consistently has received strong, positive reviews. Please plan to join us!
There will be an 8th Grade Curriculum Meeting in Spanish and Burmese at the same time as the English version. It will be held in the Student Life Center (SLC) at Roncalli at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31. Enter at Door #5, and you will be escorted to the SLC. We hope to see you there!
If this meeting is delayed due to weather, the makeup date is Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00 PM.

Do you have some time to spare and want to spend it helping your community?? We have some fun opportunities for you!!
Even if you only have an hour, your help will be greatly appreciated!
Anytime Wednesdays 12-7pm serving in the food pantry. From repackaging food to cooking meals for 300 to greeting guests to serving and cleaning up. We need more friends to help us meet the need.
Fridays at our pop up pantry: 3-6pm; unloading and setting up food and greeting guests
11/16 Community Friendsgiving dinner: After the pantry, 4-8pm; help prepare and serve dinner
Thanksgiving day: AM preparing meals to be delivered to 200 home bound seniors.
12/10 breakfast with the Grich: set up the night before and serve breakfast at 9am. Also…have lots of fun.
12/21 Community Holiday Dinner and viewing of Polar Express! After the pantry, 4-8pm, help prepare and serve dinner
