Beginning the Journey I
PROJECT NAME Workshop, Video & Resources
Beginning the Journey I
Workshop Summary
"Give a child an intervention, and they will learn for a day."
"Give a family Early Intervention Services, and the child will learn throughout their lifetime."
Please join us as we discuss the first steps after the diagnosis of a delay or disability in "Beginning the Journey I" webinar.
Each child grows at an individual pace, but research shows that a child's first three years are the most important time for learning. Getting help early puts your child on the right path toward learning and developing at their full potential.
This training educates families on Early Intervention and how it is provided to support families and caregivers in developing the competence and confidence to help their child learn and develop.

We assist parents with no-cost, up-to-date and vetted knowledge about the IDEA, the IEP process, transition from Early Steps to the Voluntary Pre-K Program for Students with Disabilities, transition out of school and into the community, as well as disability-related community and governmental resources. Best of all, we here at FND, are all the parents of children with special needs, and can give a more rounded view of all the options and resources available to us!
