A Message From Nurse Rudolph...
Cold/flu season is quickly approaching. If your student is out sick for any reason (personal or illness), please let his/her teacher know or the office know on the day of the absence. Also, as a quick reminder, if your student is home/sent home with vomiting, diarrhea, and/or fever, he or she must remain home until symptoms have subsided for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of the aid of any medication. Other reasons your student should be kept home can be found on the School Nurse webpage and you can follow me on twitter @NurseRudolph for healthy tips through the year.
Thank you for always helping CES keep a healthy campus!
CES Volunteers:
In order to volunteer in GCISD a volunteer must:
1. Read the Volunteer Handbook, watch the appropriate video included in the handbook and electronically sign the volunteer verification form.
2. Complete the volunteer background check. A link is included in the handbook.
Here is the link to get to the Volunteer Background Check and Handbook:
http://www.gcisd-k12.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=474
ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO REAPPLY EACH YEAR. You cannot volunteer at the school until both of these items have been completed through the GCISD Volunteer Handbook, so don’t delay!
At CES, we ask that you not bring younger siblings into the school when volunteering.
