Spring Basket Collection

Lakeshore Elementary School is participating in an event so big, it makes the sun seem small. This event is kindness. Lakeshore School is participating in a Spring Basket Collection. Taking place on April 13-21 kids will donate entertainment items for nursing homes. The reason? To brighten up someones day. Kindness is a powerful thing. What's in your basket?
According to the Lakeshore student council a brand new activity is coming up. The Spring Basket Collection is an event starting on April 13 and ending on April 21. The only goal that Lakeshore has is to make someone happy. You can bring in: chocolate, cards, movies, books and other stuff like that.
Mr. Matt Steinbarth, the principal of Lakeshore says that the Spring Basket Collection is a tremendous idea. "It shows the great things Lakeshore does to help other people," he says. Mr. Steinbarth also says that the basket collection shows our schools caring attitude.
Trista Muench, a student at Lakeshore loves the idea. "I love to help people! I also like to donate." Being a kindhearted girl who loves to help, Trista will be a tremulous help during the event. Loving the Spring Basket Collection, Trista says, "It's important giving entertainment."
