Need to know facts!

A viruses structure includes a protein coat (capsid), DNA/RNA, and an enzyme. He DNA/RNA is surrounded by the capsid. Some have a lipid membrane (envelope) which surrounds the capsid.

So what exactly can a virus do? A virus is capable of infecting cells, using them to create even more viruses, mutate, cause disease in any biotic factor. They are capable of doing much being a way smaller size than bacterial and animal cells.

Virus reproduction counts on cells to reproduce.

So why are viruses not cells? Viruses do not have a cellular structure, no respiration, unable to move.

Fatal or not?

Unfortunately, this last year, 203,00 people have lost their to influenza. Unless you want to be a victim, don't let those tiny cough and sneeze droplets get to you.

Disease and Symptoms

Influenza is the cause of the flu. Symptoms of this disease are fever, or feeling as if you are, coughing, sore through, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, fatigue, vomiting and diarrhea.

How Influenza takes over.

This virus is usually spread from person to person, any contact of tiny droplets caused by coughing and sneezing.

Treat yourself with treatments.

There are currently four prescription antiviral drugs which are Oseltamivir, Zanamivir, Peramivir, and Amantadine.
