Principal Zeckser's Future Plans

Some families have inquired about Principal Zeckser's precise plans for his move to Iowa. The Zecksers are moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He will be serving Holy Family Catholic School System, part of Cedar Rapid's Xavier Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Dubuque. There are two schools and four parishes in this system, and his role there will be similar to his role at Saint Mark's with a bit more emphasis on advancement, but otherwise a fairly similar role.

Saint Mark's Golf Day 2018

Golf Day is coming up soon on June 24th! You will need to sign up to participate and can do so below. Golfers are very strongly encouraged to sign up on or before June 10.

Thank you for supporting Saint Mark's School and we hope to see you there!

New Markers on the Horizon

On the heels of the news of some of our teachers heading in new directions next year, we have begun the process of hiring great new teachers to lead our students next year. Positions are posted and applications are coming in. We look forward to hiring and welcoming new Marker teachers and introducing them to you as well. Stay tuned!

Preschool Expansion

Due to the high number of preschoolers enrolled, and in the interest of welcoming students on our wait list, we will open a third room in preschool next fall! The Apple Room will serve as a half day room for preschoolers, and we are now able to enroll even more students into the Star and Sunshine rooms! Thank you for sharing the word about the awesome Saint Mark's Preschool, as it has certainly contributed to its popularity and success.

Summer Faith Formation Opportunities

2018-19 Faith Formation and Sacraments (PreK-8th Grade) program information and registration is now available on the St Mark's parish website. Come grow in the Faith with us!

Communications Opportunity Coming

In response to the positive feedback families have shared about the FAQ email, there will soon be a live portal families can access to ask more questions about some of the changes that may be coming up. We hope that families will find this to be a good opportunity to ask questions and better understand the goings on at school.

Summer Office Hours and Communication

The school office will be open and running in the months of June and August Monday through Thursday 9am-12noon and by appointment (email us at

The school office will be closed during July, but calls can be taken at the parish center office, 651-645-5717, or families can leave messages at the school office 651-644-3380 and we will check messages as we are able.
