Message from Coach Walker (soccer) and Coach Royse (volleyball)

Soccer and volleyball conditioning is right around the corner!

CONDITIONING for both teams is scheduled from 6 to 8 PM:

Monday 8/8

Tuesday 8/9

Thursday 8/11

Monday 8/15

Wednesday 8/17

Thursday 8/18

Fall Sports Information:

  • Soccer is open to 7th and 8th grade boys and girls.
  • Volleyball is open to 7th and 8th grade girls.
  • Please note you must have a CURRENT physical and turn in a copy in order to participate in physical activities (form linked below). If you turned one in during spring sports, please bring another copy.
  • 8th graders must have good academic standing from 4th quarter last school year, 2.0 GPA and passing core classes.
  • 7th graders- you are exempt from academic requirements but will be required to maintain passing grades and a 2.0 average GPA once you make the team.
  • Please refrain from the exciting back to school piercings as jewelry is not permitted during games.
  • Stay tuned for more details in terms of drop off and pick up procedures, date changes, and any other forthcoming information.
  • For CGA/metro students, coaches will reach out to the schools with dates but we encourage you to let them know your child is doing a sport at Dominion and you want to get transportation set up.
  • Once teams have been made, practice and games will take place Monday-Thursday.
  • Games usually start mid September. In past years games were Monday/Wednesday (typically starting at 4:00) and practice were Tuesday/Thursdays (typically after school 2:45-4:45).
  • More information to come once that information is confirmed from the district.
  • More information on tryouts will be shared when available!
