Important Safety Reminder on 49th Ave. in the Morning
This is the time of year when the sun is shining at a dangerous angle when driving east on 49th Ave. in the morning. This has caused accidents in front of our schools, though fortunately there have not been any injuries that we are aware of due to these accidents. CHPS staff will be providing extra support outside along 49th Ave. as they are able but it is vital that all drivers take extra caution in driving on this street, especially during the times when students are present. The angle of the sun changes with the seasons, but it is always the season for safety when driving near schools! Thank you for helping us all stay safe both inside and outside our schools!
