Grateful To Be A Grizzly
Dear Glacier Peak Parents and Guardians,
It feels so good to have the building full of life again after sitting quiet for the past couple of weeks. We kicked off the week on a strong note, and it's been wonderful to see our students return with enthusiasm and energy.
I am thrilled to share that we had a fantastic time launching our first-ever "One Book One Glacier Peak" initiative. It was a joy to witness the joy of reading and the sense of community that comes with it. It's wonderful to see our school community coming together to celebrate the joy of reading.
Your continued support is invaluable, and I want to express my gratitude for being part of our school community. Together, we can make this semester a remarkable and successful journey for our students.
Here's to a fantastic 2024!
- As we head into the cold and flu season, please reference the How Sick Is Too Sick for guidance on when to keep your student home. If you have any questions at any time, please reach out to our Health Aide, Alexis Nelson at 720-972-5945.
Drop-off Bus Lane
Please remember that our gate closes to ensure that the bus has safe entry to our parking lot. Due to transportation scheduling, we must give the bus the right of way so our students arrive at their stops on time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Building Healthy Communities
Have you had a chance to attend a Building Healthy Communities event? Join us on February 1st from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for a virtual presentation with Dr. Damour about her latest book. Dr. Damour will provide concrete strategies for supporting teens as they manage their feelings at home, with their peers, online, and at school. Learn more about how to prevent teens from being overwhelmed by their emotions and receive guidance on how to help teens open up. The main focus of the evening will be understanding that teenagers are not at the mercy of their moods.
