Staff Newsletter - Week of 03/04/19
What a blessing it is to work with a talented group of people and serve very talented students! The Black History Program was a HUGE success. I had a few parents state that this was the best one yet! Thanks to Tonya Merl, Tracy Baker and Deborah Bridges for working with everyone, getting everything organized and creating the programs. It's hard to name everyone who made this program a success as there were A LOT of people who helped. Every grade level represented well!
There were a lot of people who helped set up, clean up, and get the students seated and ready to go. A special shout out to the custodians who got everything set up early so that the students could practice if needed. Lisa Mills took lots of pictures. She got some great pics of the student performances and Tonya Merl and Angela Grant directing the performances. :-) Some of them might show up in the yearbook! Oh....and Brandy Murray, I will have to proof read your script next year. I think you left out a few lines about the AKAs....but that's okay....the kids were awesome! You and Belinda Terry did a great job on their performance.
I know EVERYONE enjoyed the Shiloh High School Drum Line performance! Mr. Alexander went to great lengths to make sure they could perform for our school. A few of the students on the team attended Partee ES. We want to make sure they know how much we appreciated and loved their performance. Please ask some or all of your students to write a letter to Mr. Alexander and the Drum Line thanking them for their awesome performance. You can send all letters to me and I will send them to SHS. I would like to have them by Friday.
Thank you to everyone for making this an awesome performance! One Team, One Dream!!!
Have an awesome week of teaching and learning!
Generals Salute!
Kelli
