Meeting Topic: Behavioral Treatment in our Schools.
In September 2018, the DPI and DHS issued a”Joint guidance for Behavioral Treatment of School Age Youth” document. One type of behavioral treatment is ABA. Mandy VanVleet, Director of Special Education in the ECASD will discuss this topic.

Young Athletes
All children ages 2 – 7 are invited to participate in this 8 session sports-play program that
focuses on physical, cognitive and social development through activities like walking, running,
balance, jumping, trapping, catching, throwing, kicking, striking & advanced skills.
Also, through inclusive nature of the program and peer interaction, children will begin to
recognize each others abilities, promoting understanding, acceptance, and respect as they build
new friendships.

Registration Opening Soon for Summer 2020!
The Miracle League of the Chippewa Valley gives children ages 4-19 who have cognitive or physical disabilities the opportunity to play baseball on a rubberized field. That special field allows players the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers and braces, helping to alleviate falls and trips.

Circles of Life is Wisconsin’s annual conference for families who have children with disabilities and the providers and other professionals who support them.

This quality camping experience is provided free-of-charge to eligible children and adults with disabilities from Wisconsin. We serve children and adults who are blind or visually impaired, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, children with intellectual disabilities or autism, children with diabetes, and children with epilepsy. Easter Seals Camps
THE RIGHT CAMP FOR ANY CAMPER
Time off from caring for another – a respite – is the number one need of families with a loved one with disabilities in Wisconsin. To address that need, Easter Seals Camp Wawbeek and the Wisconsin Elks/Easter Seals Wisconsin Respite Camp (both located in Wisconsin Dells), offer well-deserved breaks for parents and caregivers while their loved ones enjoy innovative recreational opportunities in an accessible environment.
