SCHOLARSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP UPDATES FOR THE TEMPLE COMMUNITY
2018-2019 YEAR IN REVIEW
Temple students marked a few more "firsts." Marcus Forst is our first Knight-Hennessy Scholar. Megan Maxwell is our first Gaither Junior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Alexander Litz is the first Boren Scholarship recipient from Temple University Japan (TUJ), and Hikari Hida is TUJ's first Schwarzman finalist. But we also appreciate our "seconds"--Mitchell Young became our second Goldwater Scholar, and this was the second year in a row that we were recognized as a Fulbright Top Producing Institution.
