Birthdays!

Happy Birthday to Abbigail and Dagny!

In the Classroom

We will be closed December 21st – January 1st. Have a wonderful holiday.

Look for more information on the December 18th “Winter Festival”.

This month we will be working on many new works. We will be learning about winter, snow, and winter animals. We will be learning about hibernation and what some animals do in the winter months.

Here are the words to one of the songs we've singing in the classroom. I'm sure your child will joyfully join you in a round or two!

Chubby Little Snowman (finger play)

Chubby little snowman had a carrot nose.

Along came a bunny and what do you suppose?

That hungry little bunny looking for his lunch

Ate that little snowman’s nose.

Nibble, nibble,

CRUNCH!

Reminders

  • Please send a child size cup in your child’s lunch box.

  • Please bring a reusable bag for soiled clothes that can be stored in your child’s cubby.

Tip:

Let your child help at home. Helping make dinner at home is a wonderful way to let children be involved and included. It can be so fun and rewarding for children to help make something the whole family will eat. It can be a great way to get them to try new foods. They will be more likely to eat if they helped to make it. Pizza is a fun one to make together and add some yummy veggies to the top.
