SPRING BREAK STARTS ...

Friday, March 26 is the last day of classes for the Jackson Local School District until April 7 when classes resume. There are no other days off during the routine school week through the end of the school year. The last day of classes is May 26.

JLSD buildings will be closed during spring break. Buildings will reopen on April 6 for our professional development day, but there will be no classes that day. Please call your building or have an appointment if you are coming to a JLSD building on April 6.

PROM, GRADUATION PLANS TO BE ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK

The Jackson Local School District will announce prom and graduation plans this week. The Jackson High School Prom Committee continues to plan for an in-person prom. Commencement plans for the Jackson High School Class of 2021 are underway. Plans for both events will be held in compliance with guidelines issued by the Ohio Department of Health. Both events likely will be held on the campus of the Jackson Local School District. Watch for information from the district on a formal announcement.

JACKSON ST. BALDRICK TEAMS COMBINE TO RAISE MORE THAN $100,000

Eight organizations representing Jackson Local Schools' six buildings, Jackson Academy for Global Studies, and Jackson High football have combined to raise more than $101,000 for St. Baldrick's annual fundraiser to fight childhood cancer.

Lake Cable Elementary School is the top team in Jackson's St. Baldrick's group with nearly $36,000. Lake Cable is the top team in the North Canton Racquet Club District.

Jackson Local School District has a long tradition of supporting St. Baldrick's and raising money to help fight childhood cancer.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR

Registration for the 2021-22 school year is open. To be eligible for kindergarten in the fall of 2021, your child must be 5 on or before September 30, 2021. Complete information for new student registration for the 2021-22 school year in all grades can be found at the link button below.

REMINDER: ALL MEALS ARE FREE

As part of the USDA's free meals program for the 2020-21 school year, all standard meals in the Jackson Local School District are free for all students. Remote learners can pick up free lunches daily, however, those lunches MUST be ordered weekly.

Log in to PaySchoolCentral by going here and go to pre-order meals on the right-side panel menu. All meals must be ordered by Thursday for pick up the following week. More info on where meals for each building can be picked up is here.
