Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7th 2021
Teachers play a critical role in educating and shaping the lives of children: the future leaders of our country. They are kind, patient, hard-working, dedicated, and understanding professionals who help mold our children and guide them in positive directions.
This Teacher Appreciation Week, help recognize and celebrate great teachers at your school by inviting students and parents to submit nominations for the national Honored award. Each month, one Honoree receives a $5,000 award, a $1,000 gift card to DonorsChoose.org, and is profiled by a world-class writer.

College and Career Newlsetter
Mass Physicals
The SAISD Athletic Department is hosting a FREE mass physical event for student-athletes in grades eight through eleven on Saturday June 5th. If your student is interested in participating in athletics next school year, we encourage them to take advantage of this opportunity. The required paperwork can be picked up on campus. It is due to the Athletic Trainer on or before May 26th.

Vaccine Drive
UHC Vaccine Drive- May 21
There will be a vaccination drive for 12th graders and students that will be taking dual credit classes at the colleges on May 21st. It will be at Fox Tech mall area, and the parent MUST register the student for an appointment on-line or by phone and will need to complete and bring in the packet. Please bring your packet to the nurse by May 13th!

CALLING STUDENTS! (7TH – 12TH) St. Philip‛s College is offering an opportunity to improve your math skills while doing “FUN STEM” hands on activities with the importance of “MATHematics” involved. MESA is a six-week summer enrichment program where participants will learn Math, Science, Engineering and Computer Program. POM Squat Tryouts
Hello Future and Returning Buffaloes!
Auditions for the 2021-2022 Red Diamonds Pom Squad are the first week in May! The Red Diamonds are our Fox Tech/ALA/CAST Tech campus varsity dance team. The team performs at pep rallies, volleyball games, basketball games, district dance shows, and regional/state dance competitions. If you have dance experience and are interesting in tryouts, please see the link below to access our tryout application. All information regarding tryouts, practices, performances, cost/fees, fundraising, etc. is available there. The application is due Friday, April 30th and tryouts will be after school May 3rd-7th.
