Principal's Message
Dear Eagle Families,
We are almost half way through November. It is still hard to imagine that our Thanksgiving break is quickly approaching. Our eagles are truly amazing. They work so hard in the classroom and are so kind to one another. Every time I walk the hallways, I just cannot stop smiling. It is truly a joy to be around them. I continue to tell the entire staff that I am blessed to be here on this campus serving this community and I really do mean that. Your children are amazing and that is all because of you. Thank you for bringing them to school on time, smiling and happy. This is what helps our teachers continue to provide amazing learning experiences.
Thank you to all of our families and community that supported our PTA in our Delia's Famous Tamale sale. We passed out hundreds of dozens of tamales. If was a great fundraiser and this will greatly benefit our students. PTA helps provide fun activities and incentives for our students. I hope everyone that ordered will enjoy those mouth watering delicious tamales with family and friends.
Currently, our book fair is underway. Thank you to those that have come by and participated and purchased books and other items. This also goes back to our library to help with purchasing of new books as needed.
Please make sure you have a copy of the district calendar so that you are aware of the upcoming student holidays. They are quickly approaching. Many events and dress days will be shared soon. Holiday pictures will take place early December. Please make sure you follow us on Facebook and on Twitter. @LosEncinosES This is the quickest way we get out any new information. I also share via School Messenger with voice messages and email. You should be receiving these notifications if you have your most recent phone number and email on file with our front office.
Thank you in advance for working with our students and staff to ensure that we provide a safe learning environment and community. Please know that the safety of everyone in our building is extremely important to us. If you have any questions at all please contact us.
With much respect,
Laura Perales, Proud Los Encinos Principal
