Our mission statement
Immaculate Conception School exists as a gift to God’s children, to prepare them to live a life with Jesus the Good Shepherd as their teacher and friend. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, and through the intercession of Mary, the school seeks to foster in each student spiritual growth, academic excellence and moral integrity.
Dear Parents,
What a week at ICS! Most students in grades 1-8 completed the expected MAP assessment. We will send each child test results home mid October. Thank you for supporting ICS by making sure your child was well rested, arrived to school on time, and ate a healthy breakfast. Partnering with you helps us set up your child for success. I encourage you to continue these practices each school day. It truly makes a difference. Read more about MAP here: Student Resources.
Our walkathon, Trek for Tech, was AMAZING! Thank you to all for supporting this phenomenal fundraiser! Our goal was $15,000.00! Through generous donors and lots of support, we exceeded all expectations! I am so grateful to the committee. You worked for months to make this day so special for us and you provided a day that blessed us in so many ways! I have been told we do not have a final count on donations but promise we will let the community know as soon as the fundraiser comes to a close. Last call for donations here: www.icsannandale.org/walkathon-donations
Our Guidance counselor, Mrs. Severson is doing a super job hosting Social Emotional Learning (SEL) during Media (library) class. Students will soon borrow library books on a weekly basis. Before we begin borrowing, each student will learn about the library and library expectations.
As you know, our school's library is housed in our Innovation Lab. We are in need of volunteers to help keep the library organized. If you have a love for handling and organizing great books, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Our exceptional librarian, Mrs. Barbara Lazarus, has committed to volunteering her time to keep our library in tip top shape. I would like to create a team of library volunteers to enhance and support Mrs. Lazarus' efforts. I promise, you will not work alone. Please sign up here: Library/Innovation Lab
Get ready for Fall Fest!
God bless you and have a lovely weekend!

Our 4th to 8th graders will participate in the Wonder Project
This month, ICS will host the myFace Wonder Project for our 4th - 8th graders. This assembly is an initiative that teaches students the importance of empathy, inclusivity, and being an Upstander against bullying. The book Wonder tells the story of how a child with a facial deformity navigates relationships with his family and classmates as he enters a school for the first time.
Please learn more about the project here: https://www.myface.org/wonder/
