Message from the Principal
Hello Students and Families,
Bravo to the cast and crew of Matilda, Jr.! The performances were fantastic. As one parent shared with me, The way that so many students are included in this show is just amazing; it is so great to see so many students involved and having fun!” A well-deserved thank you and congratulations go out to our teachers Brent Bueno, Caleb Cutler, Gina Colella & Laura Deschaines. As Brent Bueno explained to the audience, Oak Hill's productions are completely student-run from the acting, the costumes, the lighting, sound, sets and props. The performance is a culmination of the beauty and hard work of our middle school students! Congratulations to everyone involved in the show! See below for a few photos.
February is Black History Month and students will have opportunities to engage in a variety of activities during the month in advisory. Click here to view some of the activities that advisors and their students will be choosing from to learn more.
As you know, Newton residents will be voting on the override March 14th. I have tried my best to summarize the most relevant information in a brief video and in 9 PPT slides. See more below.
I hope everyone enjoys a great week and please write me anytime if you have questions or feedback.
Sincerely,
John
