Principal's Message
The Spirit of Generosity
December is a month in which we think of giving back. This time of year brings about joy, caring, and being generous. While in today's world, it may be difficult to find generosity, we at North find ways to be generous on a regular basis. We give a lot of ourselves in the name of student achievement, and we will continue to work on these attributes with our students each day. As you go through this holiday season, be sure to be generous in thought and in mind.
Some reasons for being generous is as follows:
1. It builds relationships.
2. It builds trust and loyalty.
3. It demonstrates resiliency.
4. A power team can be built.
Question of reflection:
How can you be more generous or how has being generous assisted you?
I hope that you will be able to enjoy the season of generosity! Happy Holidays!

Middle School Students Participate in Reader's Theater
Students in Ms. Cary's ELA class worked on studying different literary text structures, including short stories, poems, and dramas. To bring their learning to life, Mrs. Kelly Bilal (Godmother of 6th grader TJ Oliver) came in to engage the students in reader's theater. Students first participated in an improv activity to learn about this type of drama, then dove into a scripted drama titled "Green Eggs and Hamlet," a spinoff of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Students enjoyed playing the parts of the various characters and learning about how drama brings short stories to life.
