Do YOU Have What It Takes to be a Google Ninja?

Many of you have taken the challenge to become a Google Ninja!

Are you using Google Apps to their full potential?

How can you use Google Apps with your students?

Become a Google Ninja to help you!

Go to classroom. google.com to join the Google Classroom. Once you access the class, you will see a plus (+) sign in the upper right hand corner. Click the sign and choose to join a class. The class code for the Ninja Academy is ctbid6.

Once you enter the code, you will be enrolled in the class. You will NOT have to type in the code again. You will notice that there is a test and video tutorials for each belt. The videos are there to help familiarize you with the particular app. Once you are ready to take the test, just click on the link for the Google Form and take the test. There is also a link to the leaderboard. Just like last year, you can take the tests as many times as need be.

Look for the Black Belt to be added soon!

If you have difficulty accessing Google Classroom, please email Lonny Harper.

The JFK Challenge is a free iPad app that allows students ages 9-11 to become either a Peace Corps or NASA trainee. As a NASA trainee, the student can try on a spacesuit, steer the spacecraft, explore the Moon's surface, and learn about the first moonwalk. As a Peace Corps trainee, the student can navigate mazes and other games, help build virtual waterways and houses, explore a Colombian village, and learn Spanish words and world geography.

More information about the free app can be found here.
