Staff Flu Shots Information
The nurse will be meeting our group on Wednesday, 9/21/2016 from 3-330pm.
- They will bill Aetna for employees that wish to be vaccinated.
- For employees without Aetna insurance I can collect directly from the patient at the time of service(exact cash or check is needed). The cash rate is $12 for trivalent and $39 for quadrivalent.
- Employees covered by Aetna insurance have a zero copay. They will need to present their Aetna ID card
- They are able to vaccinate anyone 7 years and older without a prescription. If someone under the age of 7 needs a vaccination I will need a pediatrician's prescription (please note that the youngest we can vaccinate is 4 years old due to indications of the vaccine)
- They will arrive 15 minutes prior to our start time to set up and will stay from 3-330pm
- We will bring extra vaccine in case there is larger than expected turn out so there is no worry about running out of vaccine.
There will be a consent forms and flu vaccine information forms in the staff lounge.
