Your local Jiffy Lube owners are offering one $4,000 scholarship award and now three $1,000 scholarship awards to 4 local high school students – students simply have to write about “What Drives You?” – no grade point or test score requirements!
Program Overview:
Four finalists will be selected from the 500 word “What Drives You?” essays submitted. Each finalist will be guaranteed a minimum $1,000 award if they create and submit a 1-2 minute video that expands on their essay in their own candid words, visuals, etc. The overall $4,000 scholarship winner will be chosen from these videos. Last year’s scholarship winners and the videos they submitted are posted on our site!

It isn't just for the sciency types. NASA hires business people, writers, artists, communicators, naturalists, marketers, if it is a job NASA needs someone to do it.
The Idaho State Department of Education and NASA Aerospace Scholars with the support of Idaho business, industry, and education partners have teamed up to provide this exciting opportunity for Idaho high school juniors at no cost to participants. Idaho Science and Aerospace Scholars (ISAS) offers a one-of-a-kind experience for Idaho high school students to explore the possibilities of a NASA related major or career. The adventure starts in January with an online course. High achieving students earn the opportunity to attend the ISAS Summer Academy.

The Idaho Job & Career Fair will be hosting over 30 companies on November 17th from 3:30pm - 6:30pm at the Galaxy Event Center in Meridian.
Company representatives from a wide assortment of industries will be on hand to speak with job seekers. These employers are looking to fill an array of full-time and part-time positions.
