HOUR OF CODE
Learning to code one hour at a time...
Why participate in the Hour of Code?
We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly hinge on understanding how technology works. But only a tiny fraction of us are learning computer science, and fewer students are studying it than were a decade ago. As I saw on Twitter yesterday: "Life is too short for the wrong career."
At SHS, we are trying to change that by joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code.
HOUR OF CODE
2. Students must bring CHARGED laptops and GREAT attitudes.
3. Send them to the library during their allotted time.
4. Enjoy a moment or two to catch up on grading, work with students who need extra help, OR eat your way through Gradin' and Grazin', etc. We want this to benefit you too!
