Coach Patterson's first-year EAGLE MED students

Coach Patterson's first-year EAGLE MED students (health science pathway/ foundations of health classes) had their first Lab this week. The Lab taught the students the reasons for, and importance of, technical medical hand washing. It keeps the clinician safe and stops the potential of the spread of disease or infection to each patient. The lab put all the information into practice, the 12 step process is used by most healthcare professionals and is considered the gold standard which is endorsed by the public health departments in the United States and World Health Organization. We are excited that we can offer more classes this year as our young program continues to go through growing pains and expand. Our program currently contains 79 students in 5 classes. We hope to continue to build the program and add more classes in the near future. If you or any students have any questions about our program or would like to join HOSA / EAGLE MED, please contact Coach Pat or email him (Lpatterson@jcsboe.org).

So I’m standing in line tonight waiting to get something to drink and I look up and I see this lady who could be Brandi Wine Reyes twin. I snap a quick pic to send to her so she can see she’s got a twin. Then I see Kelli Howard Real and Lauren Ledbetter. Y’all, our band parents stepped up and helped work the CCHS band concession stand during 3rd quarter to help them out! I tell people all the time how amazing our parents are but they always find ways to show me that they are even more amazing than I thought!

Sending out a HUGE thank you for jumping in there when you saw help was needed!!!! You guys are AWESOME!!!!!!!
