We know that you, as parents or guardians, want your child to do his or her very best on the End of Grade (EOG) assessments. We appreciate the partnership you have with us in providing your child the best education. To prepare for testing days, here are a few tips and reminders:
Students need to get a good night's rest the night before an EOG.
Students need a stress-free morning and a good breakfast the morning of an EOG.
Students need to be at school on time and plan to stay for the entire day.
Students should wear comfortable clothes such as loose shorts or pants, a t-shirt, and a light-weight jacket, in case the room is cool.
Encourage your student to give his or her best effort, take their time, read carefully, and use the blank paper provided to them to work out problems or organize their thoughts before answering a question.
Remind your student to read passages more than once, read each answer choice to multiple choice questions, and look for words that will help them find answers within reading passages or eliminate answer choices.

Classroom Sponsorships were fully funded!
Thank you to all the businesses listed below for sponsoring a classroom, providing funds for teachers to purchase supplies for their students.
Tie- Dye Party!
The Tie-Dye Party was a huge success. All students enjoyed the event and made some cool shirts!
Port-a-Pit Chicken & Family Fun Day
May 20, 2023
Live Music, Games, Bouncy Houses!
Other Concessions Available
No admission cost
It is VERY important that we pre-sell the BBQ chicken plates. The Port-a-Pit needs 440 pre-sold plates to come. That would be about four plates per student. We are encouraging students to sell six; however, we are offering an ICE CREAM PARTY to the homeroom that sells the most and a $50 PRIZE to the student who sells the most! So ask grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.! Money must be collected in advance. All orders and money are to be turned in by FRIDAY, May 12. The flyer and order form are shown below. These were also sent home on one sheet front/back. Please let us know if you need an additional form or would like a flyer to post at a business. Plates may be picked up on May 20 as take-home or may be eaten on the grounds at the event. We encourage anyone who can to come to the Family Fun Day to enjoy the activities and see the improvements to our school grounds made possible through many donations and volunteers.
