Principal's Office
We hope everyone has had a good weekend! Here is our Roadrunner Weekly for the week of January 27th through January 31st. I wanted to begin by inviting everyone to our district-wide Measure D information night to be held Monday, February 3, 2020, at 7:00 pm at The Lincoln Library at Twelve Bridges Willow Room. The address is 485 Twelve Bridges Drive, Lincoln, CA 95648. Measure D was placed on the March ballot to fund a Lincoln aquatics center, athletic fields, and additional library parking. A flyer is attached below that includes details about the meeting. This meeting is being held to give an overview of the measure and answer any questions.
Our Boosterthon Fun Run kicked off this past week and culminates with our Fun Run this Friday morning on January 31st. This is our big fundraiser of the year. Last year, we raised just over $15,000 to support the purchase of our new play structure. To this point, we've raised just over $2,500. Please see below for information on how you can support our Fun Run event!
We have also begun rehearsal for our first Starstruck Showcase dance performance! The show will take place on March 5th, so mark your calendars!
As a weekly reminder, i-Ready is an important skill builder that our kids can access at school and at home. Our teachers try to build in time during the school day for some practice, but we also encourage your child to continue using it at home also as the program recommends a minimum of 45 minutes per subject, per week to help build math and ELA skills.
Lastly, please check out our staff websites to keep current on homework and class events.
Have a great week!

Boosterthon Fun Run Fundraiser Begins!
Our Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser goal is to raise $15,000 (so far, we have raised just over $2,500 with about 40% of our kids registered); last year we raised $15,800, and the money went to fund our new play structure which went in this past September. This year, we are hoping to use the money raised to fund ongoing campus beautification and safety projects such as sunshades and benches for a new outdoor learning area; a decomposed granite walkway behind our primary wing (similar to what was put in this year behind the intermediate wing); additional surveillance cameras; etc.
In order to help us reach our goal, we need your help in the following ways:
- Register your students on FUNRUN.COM. Just getting them registered will earn their first prize!
- Create a “Student Star” video and send out through email and social media to friends and family. Friends and family will be able to pledge online which makes collecting funds super easy!
- Ask your students about the Mind Spark character trait of the day.
So far, the following classes have won some of our early incentive challenges:
- Most logins to FUNRUN.COM on night 1: Moss w/ 61%! They've earned a class donut party!
- Most "Student Star Videos" on night 2: Swesey - they earned a class Otter Pop party!
- Most new pledges on Thursday night: Vargas - they earned a mystery prize!
* This weekend the challenge is an individual one. All kids who earn $60 worth of new pledges will receive a Quantum Ring.
Thanks again for your continued support!
