March Update

LHV 2020

COVID-19

Lighthouse Village members and staff,

At Lighthouse Village, we believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize the health and well-being of our members and employees. As a precautionary measure due to State of Michigan recommendation, the Lighthouse Village office will be closed as of March 23, 2020 until further notice. Members are not restricted from their personal property. The park will not be open for operational use at this time; however, the center bath house will currently remain open for sanitation purposes.

Due to COVID-19 and the economic hardships it has caused, Lighthouse Village will be extending the due date on all invoices to April 6, 2020 or further determination without late fee penalties. Payments will be accepted through online services, mail, and/or at the office drop box. Any late fee invoices that were assessed on March 6, 2020 will be removed, and if already paid credits will be redirected and applied to 2021 membership dues.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

Resort Manager, James D. Arver

Park Reminders

  • Before hooking up anything to your water spigot please remember to get a vacuum breaker to prevent back-flow and fines. The office has these available for $7 each.

  • Dump slips can only be turned in for the current dump date, the rest will not be accepted.

  • Past due electric bills are subject to meter lock out and will be fined a $25 re-connection fee and a $25 service fee.

  • Please be mindful of others and the park and clean up after your dogs.

  • If you have a boat post or storage area please check in with the office and make sure that you have identifying (post) numbers on whatever you are storing so we know it belongs to you and is on the correct spot.

  • With the change in seasons comes a change in the weather, sometimes serious. If your phone number has changed since you first signed up for one-call, make sure you have it updated with the office to ensure you get our alerts.

  • Meter readings are done 3 times a year. The first meter reading of each year is billed in April. The second billing is done in July. The third billing will be in October.

Important

LHV suggests that you flush nothing except for one-ply R.V. tissue paper to prevent clogging
  • Please do not flush any feminine products, wipes, or towels.
  • Flush-able does NOT mean that the product is biodegradable, they can still cause clogging

When getting your updated golf cart insurance make sure your copy has the following:
