The Corley Cheer
Community Edition
December 1, 2022
Happy December! Our staff is excited to continue to support your students each and every day at Corley Elementary. We are excited to search for more ways to connect with our parents and community at Corley Elementary. Our Parent Liason, Mrs. Lyzbet Castillo, will be connecting with many of you soon about an upcoming Parent Advisory Team that will begin in the month of January. While Corley Elementary does not currently have a Parent Teacher Association (PTA), we are consistently working on ways to bridge our relationship, to make the appropriate steps to reach the goal of establishing one. Members of the Parent Advisory Team will meet with me and members of the leadership team to discuss upcoming events, feedback, and fresh ideas to help enhance the great school of Corley Elementary.
We are excited to welcome parents into the building for class parties and more events during this school year. Make sure to be on the lookout for correspondence about this. Thank you for being such an important influence in our Corley Scholar's lives. We are always proud to partner with you! Don't forget to review your child's Parent Portal as a great way to stay informed about your child's academic progress, 24 hours/7 days a week. Within the Parent Portal, you can monitor your child's assignments and assessments on a regular basis.
Thank you to the entire Berkmar Community for your continued support! I can't wait to see you in the building! Have a wonderful month and Winter Break!
Proud to be your principal,
Mrs. Duckworth
