What's Happening...

Congratulations to the THS Robotics team on receiving the Outstanding Documentation Award at the Regional Botball Competition. Foreign Language students were immersed in Spanish culture and put their language skills to the test as they visited an authentic Spanish restaurant and took flamenco dance lessons on Tuesday. Congratulations to Sophia Campbell and Christian Lapointe as they were recognized at the Merrimack Valley Superintendent's Association Scholar Luncheon. We are proud to have them represent THS at this event attended by top students from 29 area schools. College decision day was May 1st and members of the Class of 2019 committed to where they will be continuing their education next year. Congratulations to you all. It's opening weekend for THS Theater as they present Les Miserables. Tickets are still available to all four shows and can be purchased by clicking here.

Progress reports were distributed this morning during homeroom, seniors do not receive them this trimester. Also as a reminder, when picking up students from after school activities please keep the bus lane clear specifically on Tuesday and Thursday as the late bus must be able to access this lane.

2019 Tiger Pride Trail Run

It’s time for the 5th annual Tiger Pride 5k Trail Run/Walk

The race will be held at Tyngsborough High School on Saturday, June 15th. Race Day Registration will open at 8:00 am. Kids race beginning at 8:45 am followed by the open race at 9:00 am. The cost for an individual is $25.00 dollars (kid race is free). All proceeds will directly benefit the students of Tyngsborough Public Schools. The first 100 participants to sign up will receive a t-shirt.

Tiger Pride has given generously to cover various needs within the school district. Last year alone, Tiger Pride funded 10 scholarships for graduates. Tiger Pride has contributed to new varsity uniforms for multiple teams over the past three years. These are a few of the many costs that are not covered in our school budget. Without the help of Tiger Pride, none of these things would be possible.

This year Tiger Pride will donate an apparel item to the team with the greatest percentage of athletes participating in this year’s Tiger Pride 5K. Also, Tiger Pride will donate winter hats to the team that brings in the most participants.

Please Register and/or pay online by clicking here.
