FDR Cares
In our school, we have been focusing on our values of FDR CARES. CARES stands for Cooperation, Accountability, Respect, Empathy, and Safety. Each week, teachers and staff award "Golden Tickets" to students who demonstrate the CARES principal that we focus on for that week. When a student receives a Golden Ticket, their name is recorded into a list of students who will receive rewards, like a snack or admission to special school events. Any student who receives a Golden Ticket for the week earns a visit from our "TigerEats" cart on Fridays. Teachers who run our School Wide Positive Behavior program deliver snacks, treats, pencils, water bottle/laptop stickers, and other items to the students who have earned this reward. The students get so excited when they see the "TigerEats" cart roll into their classroom! Please encourage your child to follow the FDR CARES principals so that they can receive a Golden Ticket!
