Weekly Update
We have officially entered winter time! Better late than never! The students have been working hard on making good recess decisions. We are practicing controlling ourselves and not throwing snow or ice at each other. Although that may happen outside of school, it could be dangerous with so many students outside at once. The young students have been busy sledding and building and having so much fun in the snow. Mrs. Brown even joined in on the fun! The rule is, snow gear = snow play. No snow gear = blacktop only!
Pre-K had "snow much fun" in their classroom exploring snow! Check out some pictures below!
Congratulations to our newest BETA club leaders!
Next Wednesday is an EARLY RELEASE DAY!
Girls on the Run
Girls on the run is a fun after school program for girls in grades 3-5. It helps girls build their confidence, kindness, and decision-making skills while learning about the connection between physical and emotional health. Practices at Harrison will begin March 7 and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00, led my Mrs. Costello and Mrs. Ringa. The season ends with a 5k run/walk on May 21. Online registration for the program begins on January 25, and is limited to 15 girls. More information and links to registration can be found at https://www.gotrnwil.org/
