Reminders for Students in School in June
A quick recap for in school appointments at SMS between June 8 and June 26
> Parents must transport their children to these appointments - there is no bus transportation available.
> Students must enter through the main doors (77 Lumber) and also leave through those doors. They will go directly to their classroom and stay in that classroom during their time at school.
> Students will be screened upon entry and sanitize their hands.
> Physical distancing protocols will be followed at all times (inside and outside).
> Students need to bring their own snacks (no sharing) and water (fountains are not available). Students cannot share school supplies.
> Students and staff who show flu-like symptoms are asked not to report to work or school. Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath or runny nose.
We want to keep everyone healthy and safe! We look forward to seeing our students and ending the year on a positive note.
If you have any questions, please email or call your child's homeroom teacher.

Keep Collecting!
If you're wondering what to do with all those can tabs you've been collecting for weeks (now that you haven't been able to bring them to school), we've got good news for you!
Trailblazers Life Choices is in Steinbach have now opened their doors for you to drop off your tabs.
They are located at B-197 Main St.
Times and hours for drop off are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am. - 3:00 p.m.
Their procedure for dropping off the tabs will be as follows: Put them in the blue bin outside their front door. If you have your tabs in boxes, please place them beside the blue bin. This will be the safest way of doing contactless drop off. Once they see you get into your car, one of the staff or individuals will bring them into the program.
This place will officially open NEXT MONDAY, June 8th
