A Note from the Principal
Thank you for all who attended our virtual “Coffee with the Principal” last week! We mostly discussed our campus' growth goals, and I hope to offer it again soon!
Also, thank you for supporting our Centennial Boosterthon!
We had an incredible time these past few days during our Centennial FUN RUN.
We’re proud of our students, families, teachers, business sponsors, staff, and so many more. It’s been an incredible event, and with your help we were able to raise $35,440! Thank you for your help and generosity. Thank you for your sacrifice during this time. Our school is stronger with your donations and amazing support! *Donating STILL open for anyone to donate until the end of the week for those who would like to continue to share/give.* Thank you again for your support and care for our school!

Your Help Needed Regarding Student Lunches, Please
Dear EPS Families and Staff,
The nationwide staffing and supply chain shortages are hitting our child nutrition department. Because of this, beginning Friday, October 1, the district will be offering one option for lunch. Please be aware, especially for students with allergy and special diet concerns, that product shortages may require last-minute menu changes or substitutions at individual sites. The October menus are posted to the child nutrition website. We apologize for any uncertainty and inconvenience this may cause as we work through these difficult market conditions.
In addition, we want to remind you that although meals are free this year, it’s important for every family to fill out the Free and Reduced application. Even if you don’t think your family qualifies, please fill out the form. Your student could qualify for other incentives such as free or reduced college
application fees or free ACT testing based on your household income. As an example, many families will receive pandemic benefits (P-EBT) in the form of debit cards for groceries simply because they had a qualified lunch program application on file with the school last year. Without your applications, we also risk losing vital state and federal money that supports our schools.
Anyone who completes the application by September 30 will be included in a drawing for a free Vizio 50-inch 4K Smart TV. The winner will be selected from ALL applicants, even if they do not ultimately qualify for lunch benefits. The drawing will be held on October 11, and the winner will be notified by phone. Any family who submitted an application for this school year is already entered and does not need to fill out a second application to be registered in the drawing.
We also want to take this opportunity to let you know that we have a number of open positions in our child nutrition department. Our support staff is crucial to the district’s success. If you need a job, enjoy being around kids, and want to make a difference in student’s lives, we invite you to check out the available careers here.
Thank you,
EPS Child Nutrition

In Case of Absence
Families, did you know that you may call 405-726-4699 any time to leave a message regarding your student's need to be absent or tardy? We encourage this so the phone lines aren’t tied up in the morning during AM drop off. If a family accidentally forgets to call on when a student is absent, an automated call goes out at 10:30 to families who have not yet reported their child is absent as a reminder. Thank you!
