Two Grants Awarded to CCEF for ESC’s GREEN Video Project!
Two Grants Awarded to CCEF for ESC’s GREEN Video Project!
In partnership with the Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF), CCUSD’s Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC) has been awarded two grants to pursue the production of the CCUSD GREEN Video Project: one of $10,000 from the Culver City Rotary Community Foundation and another for $2500 from local environmental nonprofit Ballona Creek Renaissance.
CCUSD GREEN is a short promotional film highlighting the success of sustainability efforts in CCUSD, with the voices of various stakeholders offering their perspectives. The film showcases small changes made locally to reduce waste and limit harmful impacts on our planet, and will serve to encourage students, staff, and the surrounding communities to take further actions to preserve and protect our shared environment. The video will also be used to spark additional outside funding to expand the resources needed to support longer term sustainability and green investments at our schools.
We will be working with production company Bilder to create this video.
We are seeking additional funding (tax-deductible) to reach our $20K goal, so please feel free to reach out with any potential donors to sustainability@ccusd.org.
Thank you CCEF, Culver City Rotary Community Foundation and Ballona Creek Renaissance!
