Big picture
Our weeklies will be emailed and posted on our web page most Thursdays in the evening. The newest points of interest will appear at the top along with a review of the previous week and things to look forward to for the next week. We include links to our Warwick Parent/Guardian Handbook and a page where we curate previously publicized flyers for easy referral. If you have ideas on how to improve our Warwick Weekly as a means of communication, "we want to hear from you." Please use the online feedback form that can be found at the end of each Weekly to share your ideas, thoughts, and concerns with us.

NEWS ITEMS

Rules

Starting on October 14th, we will resume reading Rules by Cynthia Lord. Our 3rd grade families can choose to read Rules or not. We will not do any in-class activities around the book in our 3rd grade homerooms. Our 4th-6th graders can continue reading Rules at home; and homerooms will restart their discussions and trivia questions. Parents may opt out of reading the book by notifying their child's homeroom teacher. Rules has been used as a shared text in the district for several years, however, the book and the One District, One Book™ are completely optional and not part of our CB mandated curriculum.

Box Top Leaders!

Congratulations, Warwick Bears! With the first Box Tops for Education contest almost complete, we have 3,045 Box Tops submitted! Thank you for all of your hard work so far. Remember, the first contest ends on Friday, October 25th. The following is a list of homerooms and the number of Box Tops they've submitted: McGettigan 503, Heine 412, Holtzman 238, Tagye 237. These classes are in the lead now, BUT every class still has a chance to win! So keep clipping and don't forget to ask friends and family to help.
