Ms. Flinchum's Biology Class
Happyville High School
Welcome!
Hello and welcome to our class! I'm excited to get to explore the living world around us with your student. On this website you will find information about me, about our class, about assignments, about what we are covering in brief, and any interesting articles relevant to our interests. Please feel free to drop me a line at MsFlinchum@HappyHS.edu or call me at 555-7890!
Our Biology textbook
Each student will be given online access to this textbook, as well as have the opportunity to sign out a hard copy for the school year. Please see me if you have any questions.
Metabolism/CO2 lab
Our next lab will let students explore the effects of colored filters on plant respiration and photosynthesis. We will be using our SPARK probeware, and our students will be creating their own experimental conditions.
Lab Safety Contract
Each student and their guardian must read and sign the safety contract, and it must be on file with the school, before they can participate in lab work. Safety is paramount!
After school assistance is available!
I realize that both you and your student lead busy, full lives, and not everything can fit into a school day. I am available after school for help on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 3:00 - 4:00, as well as by appointment. Please email me at MsFlinchum@HappyHS.edu to set up an appointment.
