A Message from Ms. Cimino
We would like to congratulate Mrs. McDowell, H & M Potter School's 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year! Mrs. McDowell is a special education teacher who has worked in the district for over 20 years. We are happy to recognize her dedication to her students and the H & M Potter Family.
As always, we are looking forward to spring here at H & M Potter. We have many wonderful events coming up, including our school dance and our production of Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids which are both in March. Please continue to look at our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages for updates on our events.

Congressman MacArthur's Reading Challenge
Congressman Thomas MacArthur will once again be running a reading challenge for all students in the Third Congressional District of NJ. The Reading Challenge begins on the first day of school and runs until March 16. Students must read 3 books, and enter information about those books on the website below.
Students in grades 3 and 4, if you complete the Reading Challenge and would like your certificate presented at Awards Day in June, please send it in to the Main Office when you receive it in the mail.
District Reading Challenge

As an incentive to encourage reading, students who participate in the Year Long Reading Challenge will receive a "Reading Challenge" certificate. In addition, students will receive an entry for a prize drawing for a Scholastic gift certificate for every 2 hours of reading completed and will be featured on our Facebook page and recognized at each school. Students can keep track of their reading hours by clicking the link below. To participate in the challenge, students must turn in reading logs at the end of every month.
