A Message from Our Community Liaison
Hello everyone. I am Elena Mares, the Community Liaison at CityLab High School. This is my second year working in the district and my second year at CityLab. I am excited to continue working with you and your students.
Anybody interested in volunteering at our school can go ahead and sign-up on Voly. Once you clear your background check and choose CityLab as your campus, you will be free to volunteer at events that are posted and/or support as a chaperone on our field studies.
This month we have the following events:
Picture Retake Day: Wednesday, October 19
Senior Picture Day: Friday, October 21
Fall Festival: Tuesday, October 25 4:30-6:30 PM
Parent Conference Night: 5:00-8:30 PM
There is tutoring and attendance for credit being conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 6:30 PM. If your student needs a little extra help in any of their classes; or needs to make up any hours, that is their time to do so. Late buses will be available on those days for those who need it.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the school. We also have a suggestion box where you can tell us something anonymously. It is also there to use if you cannot or do not want to call. I check it every day and will get back to you as soon as I can.
