Wilhelm Wundt married Sophie Mau, in 1872 and later became a father of 3 kids, Eleanor, Lily and Max. Wundt studied at the University of Tübingen, University of Heidelberg, and university of Berlin.
Wilhelm Wundt is acknowledged as the founder of experimental psychology. He later wrote one of the most important works in the history of psychology call, " Principles of Physiological." The work investigated the immediate experiences of consciousness, including sensations, feelings, violations. He contributed the first lab for experimental psychology at the University of Leipzig in 1879
