Lets Stop Animal Abuse !

Animal abuse is

Animal abuse is when someone hurts an animal or does not care for an animal responsibly, like not giving a dog or cat food and water. It is against the law to be cruel to or harm animals, even your own pets. It's also called animal cruelty, or neglect. Another way of animal abuse is Animal testing. Right now, millions of mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs, and other animals are locked inside barren cages in laboratories across the country. They languish in pain, suffer from extreme frustration, ache with loneliness, and long to be free.

Instead, all they can do is sit and wait in fear of the next terrifying and painful procedure that will be performed on them.

The Differences Between Animal Abuse and Animal Neglect

  • Animal cruelty can be either deliberate abuse or simply the failure to take care of an animal. Either way, and whether the animal is a pet, a farm animal or wildlife, the victim can suffer terribly. Don’t despair, though—anyone can take steps against cruelty.

    • Deliberate cruelty may involve beating, shooting or stabbing animals, or setting them on fire.

    • Neglect is not giving an animal necessary food, water, shelter or vet care because either you can't afford it or you don't want too. Neglect can also be if someone doesn't want to take care of a their pet they will drop their pets off anywhere with no food or resources to survive.
