The End Is Here!

Wow! This week has been a rush of emotions for me in our classroom! I am so very pleased with the progress of each of the students in our class. I have watched them grow over the past 9 months into mature, responsible young adults who are ready to take on their next adventure at Lineville! Please take a few minutes and reflect on this past year with your student. Talk about their favorite memories of Forest Glen, and the things that they are looking forward to as they move on to their new school. Reflecting on our journey, the choices we have made and how we handle our attitudes can greatly affect our successes and accomplishments. It's been a fabulous year, and I truly thank you for trusting me with your children...I will sincerely miss each of them next year!

Summer Learning Resources!

I have put together a list of web based tools that your child can use over the summer to prevent the dreaded "summer slide" It is common for students that do not engage in learning activities such as reading, math & writing over the summer to drop 1-2 levels in reading and struggle to remember math concepts. You can help your student continue to be successful this summer by utilizing this symbaloo on our weebly site. It has links to awesome learning activities and I have also included a google document that lists several Apple Store Apps for education that I have had experience with to help support learning as well!. Click the link below to get to the "Summer Learning Resources" portion of my classroom site, and bookmark it on your browser!
