Samuel Adams
History Hero
Who is Samuel Admas??
In 1776 he dumped 90,000 lbs of tea into the sea, and he opened up a Pub to talk about politics. He made us the independent country we are today. Who is this History Hero??
The Talking Pub
I believe that we would not be the Independent country we are today without Samuel Adams because he opened up a pub to talk about politics. Most people would come to the pub where Samuel Adams would tell the people about how we keep losing money and how unfair King George The ||| was. This influenced many people to disobey British Ruling and be on their own.
All of the Patriots are...
Mercy Otis Warren
"A superfluity of wealth, and a train of domestic slaves, naturally banish a sense of general liberty, and nourish the seeds of that kind of independence that usually terminates in aristocracy."
Samuel Adams
“The truth is, all might be free if they valued freedom, and defended it as they ought.”
Benjamin Franklin
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Voting Power
I believe that we would not be the Independent country we are today without Samuel Adams because he gave us the voting power we have today. Samuel told the people that WE should elect a governor not the king, and he made sure that when we got independence we would have the right to vote for what we think is right.
Once the Declaration of Independence was signed and the British surrendered the war, Samuel Adams made a law that we have the right to vote for who we want.
Declaration of Independence
I believe that Samuel Adams was a true Patriot because he was the main person to fight for freedom and to motivate/persuade the Colonist’s to sign the Declaration of Independence and help in the war.
