From the Principal
I would like to take a moment to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! It is my favorite holiday because it centers on taking time to be thankful for all we have and especially for the wonderful people we have in our lives, both family and friends.
We at Penngrove are so thankful for all the students in our school and of course all of their families. There are not many schools that are so supported from the parent community with gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure. I want to thank you for all that you do for our school, it is truly appreciated.
As the Interim Principal, I want to thank all of the teachers and classified staff for the hard work they do every day to support students. The staff at Penngrove is the best! I also want to thank Mrs. Fadeji for giving me the opportunity to work here. I truly enjoy my time “back in the saddle!” I wish all of the Penngrove School community a relaxing Thanksgiving Break. Enjoy your time with those you love!

Posting Pics of Kids
A few of the teachers have asked me about the policy regarding letting parents know which students can have their pictures posted on Social Media and which cannot. It is a very simple policy: neither teachers, nor any school employees are allowed to share that information. That would be a violation of privacy. Therefore, if a parent takes photos at Penngrove School or any school event, they should not post the photos on any type of social media, unless the parent is a personal friend of the parents of the students in the photo and has received permission from that parent to post. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Mrs. Rudder. email@example.com
Penngrove School has received clarification regarding Independent Study from the Student Services division of PCS. Independent Studies are only to be granted for a minimum of 5 days. Additionally, Independent Studies should be requested at least 2 weeks in advance, unless there is a family emergency that is causing the student(s) to be away from school. Assigned work must be turned in on the day the student(s) returns to school. Anything turned in later will not be graded and the days missed will be unexcused absences. By California Education Code, students are to be assigned four hours of work for each day that they are on Independent Study. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Mrs. Rudder. firstname.lastname@example.org
There is a large white cardboard bin on the stage in the multi-use room. Sock donations can be placed directly inside.
Thank you for showing your Penngrove Panther spirit.
Big thank you to Penngrove Market!
